GES Breaks Silence on Recruitment Claims

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a firm disclaimer to address a recruitment notice circulating widely on social media. According to the Service, the letter claiming that recruitment into GES has commenced is false and did not originate from any official source.
In a statement released on January 23, 2026, and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, Management clarified that it has not begun any recruitment exercise. The misleading document currently in circulation is therefore fake and should be treated as such.
GES emphasized that when recruitment officially begins, the announcement will be made exclusively through its recognized and official platforms. These include verified GES communication channels and public notices issued directly by the Service. Any information that does not come from these platforms should be disregarded.
The Service further cautioned the public, especially job seekers, to be vigilant and avoid falling victim to misinformation and potential scams. Fake recruitment announcements often expose unsuspecting applicants to fraud and financial loss.
GES reassured the public of its commitment to transparency and timely communication. Prospective applicants are encouraged to rely only on verified GES sources for accurate information regarding recruitment and other official matters.
In the meantime, the public is advised to remain calm and exercise caution, while awaiting formal announcements from the Ghana Education Service.
