d) Principal Superintendent: An applicant should have been promoted to the rank of Senior Superintendent I in or before 2020 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for the periods of approved leave of absence). An applicant who has obtained an approved undergraduate degree will be automatically placed on this rank

Consideration of Master’s/PhD Degrees

The GES also provides guidelines for officers/teachers who wish to rely on Master’s or PhD degrees for promotion. Applicants must ensure that the Master’s/PhD program is on the approved GES course of study. Additionally, the Master’s/PhD certificate should not have been obtained before the previous promotion. For those wishing to use the Master’s/PhD certificate for promotion to ADI, ADII, or Deputy Director, the certificate must have been obtained in or before 2022.
