CAGD Sends Very Important Message To All Government Workers

The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has issued a public notice to all government workers on the Government of Ghana (GOG) payroll regarding a temporary disruption in access to payroll services. The announcement informs staff that the Electronic Salary Payment Voucher (ESPV) and E-Payslip platforms are currently undergoing a system upgrade.

According to the notice, the ongoing upgrade process may temporarily affect employees’ ability to access their payslips through the affected platforms. This development is part of efforts by management to improve system performance, reliability, and overall service delivery for public sector workers.

The Department has appealed to all affected employees to remain patient and cooperative while the upgrade exercise is completed. Such system enhancements, though sometimes inconvenient in the short term, are necessary to strengthen accountability, transparency, and professionalism within the public service payroll administration.

The CAGD also used the opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to public service values, including accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement in financial management systems. Staff members are encouraged to rely on official communication channels for updates regarding the restoration of the ESPV and E-Payslip platforms.

As the upgrade continues, government workers are advised to remain calm and avoid misinformation, trusting that the system will soon resume normal operations. The Department expressed appreciation to all staff for their understanding and cooperation during this period.
