[CHECKLIST] Over 200 newly posted teachers appointments suspended by GES

In a letter signed by Prof. Smile Dadzi (Mrs.), Ag. Deputy Director-General (MS) for Ag. Director-General monitored by our platform has issued a directive to suspend the mechanization of newly recruited staff onto the payroll. This decision was made after it was observed that a total of 205 staff were integrated onto the payroll between March 2025 and April 2025 without approved Financial Clearance. The Financial Clearance for these staff had expired on December 31, 2024.

Reason for Suspension
The suspension is a result of the CAGD’s reconciliations of new entrants on the mechanized payroll against approved Financial Clearance issued by the Ministry of Finance for Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). The department noted that the integration of staff without valid Financial Clearance was a breach of procedure and has therefore directed that the mechanization of new staff be halted until further notice.
