GES Reacts to Okadjakrom SHS Teacher Over Alleged Atopa Video, Sends strong warning to teachers

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted Mr. Mfo Richard Tibetor, a teacher at Okadjakrom Senior High Technical School in the Jasikan Municipality of the Oti Region, over allegations of sexual misconduct. This follows the circulation of a disturbing video on social media that allegedly captured the teacher in an inappropriate act with a female student.

In a statement issued on Thursday, October 2, 2025, the GES described the alleged conduct as unacceptable, unethical, and a violation of the professional code of conduct for teachers. As a result, Mr. Tibetor has been interdicted and prohibited from accessing the school premises while investigations into the matter continue.
