Govt doubles Teacher Trainees allowances from GH¢ 400 to GH¢ 800; see why

As part of government’s drive to fulfill its campaign promises, Teacher trainees in Ghana would from coming months receive Gh¢ 800 as allowance from the government.

This statement was made from a group of teacher trainee union which Gespages.com is yet to talk to government officials to confirm to us.

According to the said union ,(Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana -TTAG) they have resolved an increase in the Teacher Trainees’ allowance from GHc400.00 to GHC800.00 to alleviate the financial challenges faced by trainees.

From their statement, these resolutions reflect the collective voice of the 28th General Assembly, aiming to enhance the educational landscape for teacher trainees and uphold the standards of teacher education.

They concluded that the leadership of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) would like to express their profound gratitude to all the Delegates, Observers, and Former Officials who dedicated their time to attend the 28th General Assembly.

Also they want to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all the stakeholders who consistently answered our call and are actively contributing to the sustainability of the Association. Furthermore, we would like to acknowledge and thank the management of Tamale College of Education (TACE) for their gracious hospitality, as well as express our gratitude to the various media houses for their continuous and diverse forms of support.
