Teachers’ Fund Announces Increase in Personal Loan

The Teachers’ Fund LBG has announced an increase in the personal loan ceiling for its members, effective September 1, 2025. According to a letter addressed to the General Secretary of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the limit for the Teachers Fund Personal Loan Facility will be increased to Forty Thousand Cedis (40,000.00). This change aims to provide members with greater access to financial resources for personal needs.

The letter, signed by Alfred Dela Agudetsi, Chief Operations Officer, and Foster Buabeng, Chief Executive Officer, outlines the new limits for various loan types. In addition to the personal loan, the limits for Investment Capital, Habitat, and Vehicle loans remain unchanged at 50,000, 60,000, and 70,000 Cedis, respectively. The repayment durations for these loans are 60 months for Investment Capital and Habitat loans, up to 84 months for Vehicle loans, and 48 months for Personal loans.

The Teachers’ Fund LBG emphasizes that all other loan products and their respective terms and conditions remain unchanged. Members are encouraged to contact the undersigned or the Teachers’ Fund Secretariat for any further information or clarification on the new loan limits. The Fund counts on the cooperation of regional and district secretaries to disseminate this information to all members within their jurisdiction, ensuring that teachers are aware of the updated loan facilities available to them.
