UCC Opens portal for 3-Semester B.ED Sandwich Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

The Institute of Education at the University of Cape Coast, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), is pleased to announce the launch of its 3-Semester Bachelor of Education (Post-Diploma in Basic Education) Programmes in sandwich mode for the 2025/2026 academic year. This initiative aims to upgrade holders of a Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) to degree status, providing them with enhanced career opportunities and professional growth.

Programmes Offered

The University of Cape Coast is offering three programmes under this initiative:

Application Process

Interested applicants should apply online through http://topup.ucc.edu.gh/apply before the deadline of July 11, 2025. Only those who have passed the Diploma in Basic Education Examinations or have the DBE Certificate will be required to fill out the form online. No fee is required before filling out the application form online.

Fees and Requirements

Fees will include tuition, residential accommodation, and feeding. Applicants are required to upload certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts.
