The Ghana Education Service (GES) has scheduled the reopening date for SHS two students to Friday, September 27, 2024.
This follows proposals made after the release of a new academic calendar for senior high schools by GES.
In a letter released and endorsed by Mr Prince C Agyeman Dua who is the Ag. Director , schools and instructions unit states that, the Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all heads of Senior High / Senior High Technical Schools that the re-opening date for 2nd year students of the 2024/2025 academic year is as follows;
Re-opening Date: Friday, 27th September, 2024
Vacation date: Friday, 6th December, 2024
According to him all school heads should note that all other activities, programmes and arrangements for the semester remains unchanged.
