GES Sends very important message to it’s staff and students – take it as urgent

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has authorised Senior High School (SHS/SHTS) staff and students to take a break from campus to enable them to participate in the December 7 general election.

According to a statement released dated 29th November, 2024, sighted by gespages.com, the Ghana Education Service (GES) extends its warmest regards to all staff and students.

The management further stated that as the nation prepares to vote in the upcoming general election, they hereby direct schools to close on Thursday December 5, 2024 to allow staff and eligible students to exercise their right to vote on December 7.

From the statement signed by the Deputy Director General, all Regional Directors are instructed to ensure that Heads of Second Cycle Schools strictly adhere to this directive, allowing staff and eligible students to travel to their respective constituencies to cast their votes.
