Gov’t to Recruit Post National Service Graduates and Youth as Volunteers
The Board and Management of national service scheme has initiated a recruitment drive for post National Service graduates and the youth to serve as volunteers for a period of six (6) months.
According to the director, this decision was made in order to consider the numerous applications received from the youth, as they aim to address the issue of youth unemployment in our country.
In a released letter signed by the executive director sighted by gespages.com, the recruitment will focus on various models including sanitation, teaching, agriculture, health and other sectors aligned with the Government’s efforts to promote environmental health, cleanliness, and sustainable development.
According to him, there will be online application system which will be operational soon on the Scheme’s website to facilitate the selection process.

He also stated that being cooperated and supportive in this initiative will be highly appreciated, as they work towards empowering our youth and contributing to the overall growth and development of our country.
