We will offer incentives for teachers to buy one vehicle each with engine capacity of up to 1,800cc
Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has unveiled a series of ambitious initiatives aimed at transforming various sectors of Ghana’s economy and society.
Speaking at a manifesto launch, Dr. Bawumia announced the launch of a “Women in Diplomacy” programme, designed to empower Ghanaian women to take on more leadership roles in international organizations. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to gender equality and the elevation of women in global decision-making spaces.
Recognizing the vital role of educators, Dr. Bawumia proposed incentives for teachers to purchase vehicles with engine capacities up to 1,800cc. This initiative aims to ease the transportation challenges faced by teachers and improve their overall quality of life.
In a bid to make consumer goods more accessible, Dr. Bawumia also promised to introduce a system where Ghanaians can purchase items on credit and pay in small, manageable installments, similar to systems in developed countries. This revolutionary approach is expected to significantly enhance the purchasing power of ordinary citizens.
These initiatives mark key components of Dr. Bawumia’s vision for a more prosperous and inclusive Ghana, as he gears up for the upcoming elections.
