The Ghana Armed Forces has opened its 2025 recruitment portal, and interested applicants are encouraged to follow the official process carefully. Below is a simple step-by-step guide to help you apply successfully.

Step 1: Buy an Electronic Voucher

Purchase an electronic voucher at GH₵200.00 from any designated Post Office.
Scratch gently to reveal your Serial Number and PIN Code.
Note: The card can be used up to three times until your application is successfully submitted.

Step 2: Access the Recruitment Portal

Visit apply.mil.gh (available from Wednesday, 1st October 2025).
Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for the best experience.
Read the entry requirements carefully before proceeding.

Step 3: Start Your Application

Click on “Apply Now”.
Enter your Serial Number and PIN Code.
Select your preferred Arm of Service (Tradesman/Non-Tradesman).
Click Next to continue.

Step 4: Complete the Online Form

The form is divided into three sections:

Page 1: Vacancy & Screening Centre

Choose your desired vacancy.
Select your regional screening centre for physical examination.

Page 2: Upload Photo & Contact Details

Upload a passport photo (200×180 pixels, max 1 MB).
Provide a valid email address and phone number (e.g., 0222123456).

Page 3: Results & Certificates

Enter your BECE and WASSCE/SSCE results (Core Mathematics & Core English are mandatory).
Provide your Index Numbers and Results Slip Serial Number.
Upload scanned copies of your WASSCE or Trade/Technical Certificate (PDF format, max 1 MB each).

Step 5: Preview and Submit

Click on Preview to review all your details.
Make corrections if necessary.
When satisfied, click Submit.
You will instantly receive a confirmation SMS and Email with your unique Identification Number.

Step 6: Print and Keep Your Report

Print the system-generated report and keep it safe.
If lost, visit the portal, click “Check Details”, enter your ID number, and reprint.

Important Information

Closing Date: All applications must be submitted by Friday, 31st October 2025.
Accommodation/Feeding/Transport: Applicants will cover their own costs.
Screening: Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for further screening.
Warning: Do not deal with middlemen or agents. Recruitment is handled only by GAF Headquarters (Personnel Administration). Anyone caught with false documents or fraud will be prosecuted.
