GES Drops List of 2025/26 Prospectus for Day Students
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the harmonized prospectus for day students for the 2025/26 academic year. Announced by Daniel Fenyi, the Public Relations Officer of GES, this guide outlines the essential items required for day students to ensure a productive school experience. All personal items must be embossed or embroidered with the student’s name for identification purposes.
Essential Items for Students
The prospectus specifies a concise list of necessities for day students. Academic tools include one mathematical set and scientific calculator, alongside decent sandals tailored to school specifications with no embellishments. Footwear requirements also cover decent sneakers in black or white. Each student is required to bring one school bag to carry their materials.
School-Supplied Items
Parents and guardians are instructed to purchase cleaning supplies from one of three designated groups. The first group includes a pair of hard hand gloves, 5 liters of liquid soap, and 1 kg of washing powdered soap. The second group comprises one small-size bleach, one dustpan, one long-handle broom, and one scrubbing brush. The third option includes one standing mop with a mop bucket, one duster, and one short local broom.
Key Notes
The GES emphasizes the importance of personalizing items with the student’s name to avoid mix-ups. This initiative reflects the service’s commitment to maintaining order and supporting day students effectively.
